Community Swim Nights

The beauty of mermaid magic is that it grows when it is shared. Mermaid Community Swim Night is intended to bring together our local Key West families, and open the world of mermaiding to anyone willing to dive in to explore it’s depths.

This free, family-friendly event is held each month at Southernmost Beach Resort’s Shores Pool- and is hosted by me, Mermaid Dorian, along with my Southernmost Mermaid Pod. Come join the fun, meet the mermaids, and stay for that famous Key West sunset.

Our Island Home

Community is everything on our island home, and if you’ve spent any time in Key West before, you feel it in your bones. Our island motto is “One Human Family,” and it is never more felt than in times of need. Whether we’re faced with storms or fair seas and following winds, our tight-knit community is what keeps us floating as an island at the end of the world. At the heart of our sponsored Mermaid Community Swim Night is a community effort to raise funds to extend One Human Family to the world beyond Monroe County. Donations raised through Mermaid Community Swim night are given to Save The Children, an international organization which gives life-changing support to children in the toughest places on Earth.

  • A charitable donation of $5 is suggested at the beginning of Mermaid Community Swim Night, and all proceeds benefit Save The Children.
